I hide my soul from searching eyes,
I whisper my words to avoid lies,
I weep in silence and cry in fear,
Just to veil my thousand tears.
I break the truth and hold it apart,
mimicking the jagged lines running down my heart,
allow the hail and allow the rain,
to drench me in my bitter pain.
